Hi all,
I have started the process of obtaining my Croatian passport a few months ago. My mother is a Croatian Citizen with a Croatian passport. I was registered at the Yugoslavian embassy in Stuttgart, Germany in 1985 and added to my mother's passport. I have just been informed by a contact at the Croatian foreign office in Zagreb that I indeed have Croatian citizenship and have been entered in the birth register in Slavonski Brod. In order for me to get my Croatian passport I now need to obtain a domovnica. I can't find any information anywhere on how to do this. Has anyone had to deal with something similar and if so do you have any info on how to do this? There is no phone number I can call at the embassy. Any help would be most welcome.

I've been there a couple of times now and have been told I need to get proof of being entered into the maticna knjiga rodjenih. I've got proof of that and am getting my OIB number today. When reading up on this further I have found that I need to obtain a domovnica and I can't find out how to do this in the UK. I have previously tried to call the above number but this is fully automated and won't let me actually speak to a person. I have also e-mailed but no-one ever responds.
