I will be visiting Croatia as a tourist from the UK as a UK citizen only. I will be staying at a friend’s grandparents place, however I noticed on the Croatia entry form website that I need to carry documents showing my accommodation for the duration of the trip such as hotel booking confirmations. How do I do that if I am just staying with a friend’s place?

Proof of paid accommodation is a requirement for entry to Croatia for UK travellers, so you will need to book some sort of accommodation (e.g. cheap hostel or apartment) to fulfil this requirement, and to be able to add the details of it on the Enter Croatia form. You don't have to book accommodation for the entire duration of your stay, it can be for just a couple of nights. Once you've entered, they won't check where you're actually staying, if you see what I mean...

When I came in I forgot to fill in my form. I wasn’t asked for it and there have been no problems. I would just put your friends address and ‘friends of the family’. Or not do it at all.
