Does anyone know the process of getting power of attorney to allow someone to sell a house on behalf of the owner in Croatia. The house is registered under wifes name but she cannot visit Croatia currently. Is there a way I could get power of attorney (as her husband) and deal with the property sale on her behalf if we were to sell a Croatian property?
Also what would the process be to get this power of attorney. I wouldn't want to arrive in Croatia with notary documents to be told, sorry you need to go back to your home country go get this extra document. Anyone with experience here.
Also could I open a Croatian bank account with a foreign passport and no address in Croatia? I am wondering if there is a foreign bank that can handle Kuna currency (Austrian maybe?) Thanks
