My wife and I are planning to visit Croatia in the late part of Summer. We will be driving into the country from Hungary with our Hungarian pointer (5 years) and a boxer puppy. Could you let us know what are the policies about visiting the country with animals?

I'll try to find out. As a minimum, if you are allowed to bring them in, I'm sure that you will need to produce certification that all jabs are up to date. Croatian dog owners have to arrange injections annually and the vet rings up when the jabs are due and chases you up after if you don't go or have been to another vet, so that he can keep his records up to date.
Cheers

I spoke to Croatian embassy in London this week about taking my dog on holiday fro England to Croatian. They said you need a Pet Passport and proof that the dog was been vaccinated for rabies minimum 2 weeks prior to travel (not sure what the maximum is). You might want to call them (tel no is on the website) Mira
