Hi
Info please!
My flight arrives Dubrovnik 1610 (I hope).
Will I have time to catch a ferry to Sobra which leaves at 1800?
I'm planning on using a taxi.
Cheers

It doesn't leave you a lot of time. I guess it would depend on a) the flight being on time and b) whether you need to buy a ferry ticket. 50 minutes to clear immigration and get your bags should be ample. It isn't a huge airport. It sounds a lot but you only need to get some other flight arriving late and everyone hitting immigration at the same time to slow it down to this. It could be quicker. 45 minutes should be OK to get from the airport, (South of Dubrovnik, down near Cavtat) to the ferry terminal at Gruz (in the Northern suburbs). That leaves you 15 minutes for incidentals.

Get your Jadrolinija ticket from the office before going to the ferry or you will waste time going back across the road to the booking office. If you tell the taxi driver that you need to get the ferry he will probably drop one of you at the ticket office whilst dropping the others with the bags at the ferry (assuming that there will be more than one of you). If the driver has any sense he will avoid much of the traffic in Dubrovnik and should be able to do the journey in 45 mins or less as Peter says. If you do miss the ferry for any reason the Hotel Petka is just across the road and you could check in there for the night.
