Croatian flag carrier Croatia Airlines started Saturday selling flight tickets in prices calculated in Euro instead in US dollars. The measure was announced at the beginning of the month by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and will be put into practice simultaneously in Serbia, Romania, Montenegro, Bosnia, Slovenia, Albania, Macedonia and Croatia.
The decision was motivated mainly by the dollar's rapidly fluctuating which raises insecurity in companies and travel agencies as well as in their clients. However, the recalculation is said to lead to mild price increases.
