The first two (out of eight) fast tilting trains, made in Germany, have just arrived to Croatia. They are already doing test runs between Zagreb and Split, and will start a regular service in about a month time. This year they will do the route (Zagreb-Split) in just under 6 hours, and next year they will cut the travelling time by one hour to 4.45 hours.
The first class one way ticket will cost 220 kunas (about 21 pounds),. and a second class 170 kunas (16 pounds). Free soft drinks, tea and coffee, plus snacks will be served on board.

170 kunas or 16 pounds is very reasonable for 5+ hours journey to Split. Are buses cheaper?
