Hi Mala, Do you know when this service is going to start? Found the article below but it means nothing to me David ------------------------------------------------------------------- USKORO AUTOBUSNA LINIJA IZMEðU HRVATSKE I CRNE GORE Izmeðu Hrvatske i Crne Gore uskoro æe se, nakon desetak godina, uspostaviti redovita autobusna linija, a nakon što je riješeno i pitanje ukradene aerodromske opreme, zapoèet æe suradnja izmeðu zraènih luka Tivat i Dubrovnik.

I went to Montenegro two weeks ago.. Buses?? ;D The one I used was like in cowboy movies and it did not make a break for 5 hours!! Hell for chain smokers like me.. especially when the driver smokes constantly ..let alone going to toilet.. ;D I asked them on the end if this was the way they are going to Europe - they said I should have come and sit next to the driver if I wanted to smoke.. One more thing: You have to cross the border on foot. Coming to Dubrovnik felt like stepping into a heaven of whiteness. I heard this contract for bus service between SCG and Croatia wasn't possible because a vacancy for service has to be announced on SCG country board and then only big couch companies from SCG can apply. Looks like a long process to me.. On the other side I liked the trip – all the people I met were very nice.. Sveti Stefan was fantactic..like a dream

What ever are you going to Budva for David? Sweaty Steven is much nicer Seriously some of the accommodation in Budva is a bit grotty, more like Butlins of the 60's If you get chance go inland to the mountains and the Tara canyons. If you want any contact details or info just let me know. Sandra in the office is a Montenegro expert.

When you get to the border it is better to share a cab to Dubrovnik if possible - 40 EURO for four people while the bus is 8 EURO per person.. plus you have to wait for an hour or so for the bus to Dubrovnik once you reach the border.

And.. One more thing I LIKED in Montenegro: nobody called me madam ( which always makes my hair go up), they called me - young lady or a girl - unlike Croatia and UK and this felt very good ;D ;D Seems they know how to make a woman happy ;D
