expat community in split

Hi, I'm moving to split in two months and while I have done extensive research on the area, I can't seem to find any info about the foreign community in split (if there is a significant one!)
I"m interested in talking to other expats about life in Croatia and to get practical info (jobs, volunteer opportunities, best places for shopping, english bookstores, hospitals, etc)
Do you know anywhere where I can meet other expats??

Try the British Consulate on the Riva (Harbour front) in Split,They are on the Second floor and they will I'm sure able to help. Look out for the Union Jack flying outside the Building.Sabrina is the Woman to ask for as she was a great help to me.
