Help! I opened a businessaccount with a major Bank in Split and they only do Internetbanking. Unfortunately their Installationbooklet and Instructions for using the account are only in croatian language and I was told, that they dont have an english version of it.Now I have been left in the dark. Any suggestions???

Try a websearch to see if the instruction booklet exists in english on the bank website.
Or try Raifeissen. We've never had a problem with them. Foreigners can do internet banking, have US dollar accounts, VISA cards, etc. Also, the ladies who work in the main branch in Split speak excellent english and can help you with anything you need.

Reifeisen internet banking is the safest system I've heard of. You get this little device that looks like a calculator and when you go to their site, you type a pin into the device and then it generates another pin to log into the site with. It only displays it for a minute or so, and the next time you do it all over again. You never use the same pin twice to log into the site. It seems pretty fool prof to me.
