ċ
I know it's neither of the proper "C" variants but this board seems capable of showing it, the real ones come out as è or æ. It's in MSWord under "Arial latin 1" or ASCI 267 and can be assigned a hotkey if you want to use it easily.
I really must get out more.

Well you see, one of the message board rules is that all comminication should be conducted in english. Don't ask me why, maybe it's easier to edit the swearing automatically.

It says that in the 'new message board rules' section, just above this section in the 'message board' area.

You're right (as usual). I've never read them, I thought if people are Ok then so what. Hmmmmm, we're not supposed to go off topic eh??? OK.... Zagreb. err... Burek!
No direct insults, mentions about appearance, location, nationality. So I can't call you a scruffy looking Australian plonker living in Zagreb then?

Steady on, don't go overboard there Ribaric... ;D Really, that insults rule was a leftover from the, ahem, heady days when a great number of slights flew around these boards. None of the insults were particularly offensive...but those that used them should really have known better!
About the Croatian letters not always appearing - an easy workaround is to set the encoding of your browser to "Central European" rather than "Eastern European". If I do this, I can see all the 'c' letters fine.

I did what she said and then I could see the sh, but not the ch, which I could see before.
You want to go to preferences in your browser, and then look for 'appearance' or something to that effect end then there should be something called default encoding, which you can change untill you find the one that works.
Good luck !

Yes, if you are using Internet Explorer, go to the View menu at the top of the screen, and scroll down to Encoding. You will probably have to go to the More > options, and then select one of the Central European ones. (I chose "Central European (Windows)", it seemed as good as any.)
Can you see the letters now?
