A better one could cost about £500 per month. It is cheaper in suburban areas.

It is even cheaper once you get out to the rural areas and the quality of life IMHO is much better when you know the people who live around you. There are some lovely villages around Zagreb and the public transport system into the city is very reasonable.
It is not a good idea to try and park in Zagreb, even the technique of parking on the pavement fails some days.

Hi there, in the 8 months I've been living here I've lived in 2 apartments. Both have been well situated and in excelent condition. The first was on Sveti Duh street which is a good area only a few klms. from the centre of town. It was fully furnished and cost only 300 euro a month. Now I'm on Vinogradska and it's only 3 tram stops from the centre. Fantastic high ceilings, unfurnished, back garden, also 300 euros. You have to ask around and it's better if you don't go through an agent. Try looking in the second hand news paper 'mali oglasnik' . I think they're online as well. Good luck Bok
