Hi Jon, I have friends (foreign citizens, and I am Croatian) who bought last year a great house on one island. Here are some initial tips: - you have to know where and what exactly you want to buy - if you have not idea, you should come to Croatia, "feel" it and decide upon it because every region, every island is different - you will have to register the company in Croatia that will buy the proprety - that's the easiest and shortest way, and for that you will need a Croatian lawyer (you can get into contact via the rela estate agency) - if you have any friends in Croatia, they might help you, at least to get a Croatian view of the agency you are dealing with I cannot recommend you any agency, but I suggest you to choose firstly the region you would like to have the property in, and then to ask about agencies that sell propretites - or even for proprietors - in that region. If you need any Croatian-side help, just ask Pozdrav, Rahela
