Where is a good place to buy trees & plants

I recently bought property on the island KrK. Does anyone know of a good/affordable place to buy trees and plants?

Or does any one have good ideas on how to landscape a relatively large property with plants that can thrive well?

Hi Thompson, Alan again.
Try BRIKO CENTAR in Rijeka. towards GETRO shopping centre.
As for landscaping your garden, you could ask for advice in the BRIKO centre, or call Mario on 091/250-9858.

I actually went there a couple of weeks ago. They have a relatively good selection, however the prices seem pretty steep in my opinion. Would you happen to know of any other places. Or could you recommend a way to fill a lot of land cheaply

You should try the "rasadnik Sumarija" (forestry). They have plants/trees that are suitable for the area they are situated. Probably there is one on Krk. I know there is one in Crikvenica. The best plants/trees for this area are olive-trees (maslina) , laurel (lovor), oleandar (oleander), pitosporum. Don't need much care. Good luck. (In Rijeka near Briko centar there is Parkovi plus but their prices are almost the same as Briko centar.
And of course ask local people where you can get trees.
