Purchaser Protection

Hi,

We're looking at buying an appartment in Ciovo from a new development.

We are just wondering, is there any type of protection for a UK buyer when purchasing an off plan appartment?

E.G.... What happens if we pay a deposit and before the building complex has been finished, the developer goes out of business?

Are developers bonded, is there any level of comfort for the buyer of an unfinished appartment?

We are in the middle of purchasing off plan on Ciovo...
