We live in Northern Italy (Verona) and want to buy a holiday/investment property in Croatia (it's drivable for us). We are looking for land or a derelict property in need of refurbishment, close to the sea, not too far south of Trieste.

I too am interested in purchasing a property in Istria - mainly because of it's proximity to the rest of Europe. Can anyone recommend the best area to purchase in - perhaps in terms of both capital appreciation and rental income? Nicola, I had a look at www.beatum.hr, but unfortunately the English site is still under construction. Would love to hear any other recommendations for reputed agents. Has anyone else recently purchased a property in Istria that is successfully rented out and managed? Thank you. |
