Particularly interested in purchasing property on this delightful little island. Does anyone have any idea on Rough prices per sq/mtr. I know this is not a precise science for Croatian Prpoerty, but a rough guide wopuld be useful.

Hi
Lopud, is the car-free Elafiti island, just 45 mins by ferry from Dubrovnik. It is very much an up and coming island and highly sought after - a dream to be on an island with no cars. Austrian Royal family have bought several hotels, houses and land too.
Land for sale here ranges from 50 euros per m2 to 100 euros per m2 depending how close it is to the water and the main promenade.
Houses are rarely on the market as the locals know they are onto a winner - and the property we had for sale was withdrawn as the owner knew that by next year she can get more. This was 80m2 for 170,000 euros so 2,125 euros per m2. As we have several contacts living on the island, we will be the first to know when something comes up.
Look at azurecroatia.com as we have several plots of land for sale on Lopud. No properties at the moment, but will have a ruin on our books by next week. We are a British/Croatian privately owned agency with an office in Dubrovnik.
Everyone is waiting for the new laws to be issued about land and building - should be out in October, so hang fire about buying land on Lopud this month!
Thanks
