Dear Property Forum,
I'm writing a series of Expat Files for WOMAN magazine
in Britain and wanted to know if there is a British couple living in Croatia who would be interested in being interviewed (via a telephone interview) and appearing in an article.
I'm looking to speak with a British woman who has a British husband / partner (i.e. not a Brit married to a Croatian citizen) and Anna the Webmaster has recommended that I place a posting in this forum.
The interview would consist of around ten basic questions, such as 'When did you move out and why?' 'How does local food compare with British food' etc. WOMAN magazine pays 100 pounds (or the equivalent in local currency) to the couple.
The couple should have CHOSEN to leave Britain, and not just been sent abroad on a short international posting, and also have a photo of
a)the house /flat they left in Britain
b) the house / flat they have in the foreign country
c) a couple of family snaps (maybe playing in the garden / visiting local sight seeing attractions).
No house numbers need to appear on the photos and the address is not published. The couple also are shown and can approve the write-up of the article before it is published.
Examples of published Expat Files pieces include one I did with Denise Howe who runs the English Food Shop in Berlin and has been living in Germany for over twenty years in Germany with her husband, Dave. (Piece published in WOMAN magazine on 20th Juy, 2004).
If you are interested please send an email to rob@robhydeglobal.com, or telephone 0049 173 186 1164.
Thank you
