Hi, does anyone know if the UK and Croatia has a deal that if you are a Briton investing in Croatia you can choose to pay tax in either the UK or Croatia? Or does anyone know a tax expert who can help with this. Thanks Neda

Neda, you need to refer to the UK - Yugoslavia treaty from November '81. Check out the Inland Revenue website, www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/international/treaties1.htm, I couldn't find the treaty, but I'm sure it wouldn't take long to find it. Any tax lawyer should be able to interpret it.
