I'm renting my house nr Trogir (owned through a company) out this summer and have just received my first booking (hoorah !) The guests are paying a deposit in to my UK bank account (Is that wrong ?!) but I don't know how I should take the main payments Is it possible for me to take all guest payments in to my UK account and then transfer the whole summers income to the Croatian company account at the end of the year ? OR Should guests have to pay directly to the company account ? It seems unfair and complicated to make guests pay a transfer fee and fill in all the bank forms. OR Is there a PROPER method which I haven't even thought of ? Whats everyone else doing ? Please help ! I feel like I just jumped in at the deep end wearing concrete flip flops !

Hi Carol,
Unfortunately our accountant (who was reccomended by our agent after we bought the house) speaks barely any English and our Emails rarely get a reply so I hoped someone with rental experience might be able to advise. (maybe it's more complicated than I realised)
Anyone know any good, English speaking accountants near Trogir or Split?

i know a good english speaking accountant based in split: she works for one of our clients. This is a good time to move because your tax year ended on 31/12/06 so you will not have to pay an accountant twice for work done in 2007 if you move now.
