Your "reapers" or "rippers" are called "survey marks" in English.

'reper' (HR) = 'rebar' (ENG)

'rebar' in English language is a metal rod or pole used to reinforce concrete - and so it is used in concrete GPS triangulation survey points.

Yes - Rijeka, I think is very different to other cities - it deserves much more attention and respect than Zagreb or Split - Zagreb is very boring - there's no sea! And Split is too far away from anywhere! But I'm sure the others on these forums will disagree

Rijeka is ideal for business and close enough to Opatija, Istra, Krk, Cres, Losinj (most beautiful place on kvarner) to be interesting for tourism. Also I think that because it is a port city people are more open to outsiders....but they got to get rid of refinery and build a new road to Ucka.
