I've never seen it in the stores. The Mexican Salsa in the stores is little more than glorified hot ketchup. I don't waste my money on it anymore. I've never seen ranch dressing here either, but I can make a pretty good fake with sour cream, vegeta and a few other spices. Every Croat that has tried it has been reluctant at first (they usually have vinegar & oil on their salads), but then I get rave reviews and have to show them how to make it... danae_designs@yahoo.com

Anyone looking for real Greek feta cheese can find it at Getro, near Kastel. Still haven't found the cheddar....

there is no original cheddar cheese at croatian market. all cheeses named cheddar or chester are german copys made just to reach desired low price .they re ussualy made from vegetable fat or part of it. only real cheese in this category is irish cheddar , young mild and white and can be found in hipermerkati coop in zagreb (north bradon farm - nature cheddar imported by corvis-commerce)
