I am based in Dubrovnik and have brought with me Sky digi box from Ireland (with card), does anyone have experience of using the service in Dubrovnik and can perhaps recommend a company to install.
regards,
Yvonne

As you probably know, you are in breach of your contract using your digital box outside the UK. It's not illegal but Sky will take a very dim view if they find out. There are a number of issues with ensuring the box remains active and card/software updates etc. Also Dubrovnik is near the edge of the footprint, so you may need a larger dish to recieve the Astra signal at a decent strenghth. Saying all this, it's possible, there's plenty of info if you do a Google groups search, so you may be able to get set up yourself, if not, it might be easier to get a Croatian satellite service.

With Uk Sky you can't get BBC or ITV without a whoppa dish.
