How's it going? I'm Australian with half Croatian origin. I'm going to Croatia (Zagreb) to live for a year to study the language. I just have a few questions. I have heard it is hard to get work unless you have a Croatian passport? Is this true?
I also need to find a place to live - hopefully with other young people that don't speak english, any ideas?
Finally, I'm a mountainbike fanatic. I've seen the trails they have on Sljeme when I was there in 99 and I've found photos on the net of racing there too. The most well known croatian rider is Nino Antic. Does anybody know about how to get in contact with riders in the Zagreb area? I plan to spend a lot of time riding there as well as snowboarding in the winter, any info would be welcome!
P.S. My Croatian is non existant at the moment so in English if possible please. Thankyou.

unemployment is 20% so its very hard to get any job.
you might get a job in language school, but its a remote posibility:(
