Just received this quotation for the legal work around my purchase. Seems very high to me (certainly in comparison to buying in the UK) but would appreciate your comments.
Regarding fees for legal services that will be provided in the course of acquiring real estate, please note that the our fees are as follows:
1. contract drafts - 1,3% of the real estate value
2. ownership registration with the land register - 0,6% of the real estate value
3. legal services related to administrative procedure for obtaining consent - HRK 3.000,00
4. legal services in ownership check and ownership pre-registration - HRK 2.000,00
5. court fees - HRK 1.000,00
6. plus other material costs
