Where, for the last ninety years, we are all topping ourselves, allegedly, on the result on the next, new, (bent) election. Dumb head v who? Kerry/Kelly, Jewish/Catholic, Heinz beans? I'd vote for that! Regardless of all of that. Did you know that, the 'Boston Red Sox' whoever the Donald Duck they are, today stopped the traffic in ....somewhere, for winning a game of ...... girlie rounders...(bunch of unfit grown ups dressed in baby grows). While OSBL appeared on tv everywhere on the planet tonight, (who is his agent?)looking....stately. Isuzu (isn't that a car?).....Lifes fun aint it. In Croatia, or anywhere. Now back to ENGISH BLOKE IN ZABREB. Please. I am sorry to have distracted yu all.

Firstly I picked the name “English man in England” as that is where you should be!!!
I feel sorry for people you run into on the street, it sounds like you whing to everybody you meet, do you hear a lot of people yelling “Kukavica” and running in the opposite direction?
Let me first comment about food, I have never heard anybody say that Croatian food is the best, only you poms who say how bad it is and how you would “kill for a curry”.
“I have had business meetings with at least 100 foreigners in Zagreb and when they opened to me not one of them told me that they liked Zagreb. Horrible place Horrible people.”
Shouldn’t you be discussing business not whinging!! Its clear that you are a compulsive whinger, everybody you meet, even during business hours, and let me guess, you were bored at night so you were looking around where else you can whing and cry and found this forum and decided to inflict it on us!!
Your opening comments were “They drive like it is their last day on Earth” , but you get speeding fines, you must have been going fast to get speeding fines in Croatia or is it a conspiracy against you, you weren’t speeding but they had it in for you!!
Another thing I have noticed about you, anybody who apparently agrees with you is “very liberated and highly educated” anybody who doesn’t is “uneducated” and needs to “speak to me on my level”
If we are all an uneducated lot of people , why do you keep on coming back here to this forum?
“I would suggest that you have at least 8 years of study and at least a life time of personal growth before you are able to do that.”
You’re clearly an idiot!! With all you schooling I would have thought you would put up a much more convincing argument, rather than just ranting and raving, I think you need to go back to school and learn how to communicate effectively and produce facts if you want to be believed.
This is a classic line from you “some very fair and reasoned points …..” And then you say “However once again today”
You just can’t win Mate!! These things are happening to you daily!!
“I was unable to park my car” , oh no , the world will come to an end!! No parking no haircut.
That’s what Zagreb needs high rise parking, just so that you can get a haircut.
“Of course I did not allow that to happen, but has I been a quiet reserved sort I would be €5000 out of pocket; as I said Thief’s/corrupt swine’s everywhere.”
Oh that sounds like you!!, “thief’s/corrupt swine”, very intelligent conversation you have at the bank too, and as it has been pointed out, if you are so smart, why didn’t you ask what the fees are first.
For such an educated person as you think you are, your language and behavior doesn’t seem to match up. Your behavior, language and personality definitely matches a typical UK football hooligan.
“those people who tell me to leave; I wish I could unfortunately my investments are too deeply rooted to simply head home”
Oh no, your not going!!! Why, please leave NOW!!! Im sorry to tell you this but almost everybody has told you to leave, as for your €100,000 in one year in taxes, hahhaah, you’re an idiot!! What did you buy an entire office building?
As I said originally, if you want us to believe your “Tall stories”, use your real name, at this point you are someone using a dumb alias and exaggerating your sad life.
I hope you have an uneventful day today!

As expected the nationalist refuse to see reasons; in particular English man go home; whose command of the English language is intermediate at best.
I suggest old bean that you open your eyes and your mind to the truth, you live on the typical vine of hope that Croats cling to.
Croatians should take stock; look at your country; look at the problems and most importantly look for answers.
I have made a great deal of money here; due to the fact that imports are very popular.
There is a simple reason why; either the product is not produced here or the quality is pathetic.
Now as for prejudging my life, my life style and activities, it really is not possible for you to comment on that, however as a typical ignorant Croat I am sure you will already KNOW about my life.
Croats are still communists they country is still communist state ran by sheep who don’t know their arse from their elbow.
Like my learned friend; I would happily pay €10 a tin for Heinz baked beans; I can buy baked beans in Zagreb but they are nasty, also why is all soup here in a packet? I can only talk about Zagreb, but here people are unhappy unfriendly and poor. Of course all Croats will say that is not true, but I see through your fake smiles, cars etc.
P.S I met a very helpful, wel spoken member of staff in Metro yesterday his customer service skills were oustanding and I will be contacting him next week to ask for his CV, it is rare I encounter such godo quality service in Croatia.

I see straight through your fake smiles cars and clothes.
One a positive note; in Metro yesterday I met a guy who spoke excellent English, was very helpful and charming; of course he has lived abroad for much of his life; I askedhim to send me his CV and it looks liek I have finally found a good Croatian employee.

By God, you have a cheek accusing someone of having an intermediate command of the English language. your words are as muddled as your mind.

This thread gets better, nightly. And why don't I have anything better to do, other than stand on the headland and have the Jugo blasting in my face. Because that IS all there is to do, at the coast. Forgive me, all you inland dwellers. I haven't seen a Croat for weeks. They're all deep in their bunkers burning logs. Englishman in Zagreb, Englishman go home, English Teacher. It all gets confusing, but, I have THREE TINS OF HEINZ BEANS, brought from Germany. I have ate one...It was...REGILIGIOUS, honestly. I am burning candles around the empty tin. I am sorry but a tenner would not buy one. I intend to eat one bean a day for the next year!!! Oh god, can I last a year.......That means nightly visits to this......Visit Croatia website. God, I wish. Wish I had only visited.
NEXT!

English teacher, clearly your intellect and English abilities are at the same level; similar to Neanderthal man would be a fair rating.
You couldn’t teach a Beaver to chop down a tree.
Alsdoubles; if you ever come to the big city of Zagreb (ha ha big city) I would be happy to invite you to dinner, I have family who are building a house near Šibenik so I will be down there a lot next year.

u hate the place and then you are building even a house near Sibenik. Why not in Zadar so you could go on and on about nationalists and continue to on us.
so tell us where did you find a spot in horrible Croatia near Sibenik? Rogoznica,Primosten or Murter or u managed to do something on Kornati like Mudrinic?

Why pretend to be English when you cannot even understand a simple question? I don't recall saying I was building a house. Typical Croat; prejudging everything.
Anyway I had another really bad day today; the nationalists are out there and they are looking for all foreigners.
Listen you Croats why is it that you refuse to hear any criticism about your country? Why are so many of you so narrow minded? Like all countries you have problems; I do not proclaim that England is perfect and I am open to all suggestions of improvement.
Croats however think that Croatia is beyond improvement, plus the fact that most of them are too lazy to do anything about it. One thing that is for certain is that Croatia needs more improvements than most places; as you all know I live in Zagreb in some senses of the word Zagreb is a city thus I felt it prudent to purchase a city car…ooo what a mistake a to make a!!!
The holes in Zagreb roads are bigger than some of the apartments here. If any of you older Ladies or gentlemen are considering driving in Zagreb; hold onto your false hips and teeth; it is bumpy out there. I have been scouring the Internet looking for a tank but with no success; therefore I will now purchase a huge gas guzzling 4x4that damages the environment and is dangerous to pedestrians. It would be even more dangerous if a Croatian was driving it.
How about driving around Zagreb and pretending the roads are in such a state in purpose; you know pretend it is a roller coaster and charge the tourists 50kunas a block.
It takes the workers years to build a small stretch of road; in an average team of six 2 lean on shovels, 1 makes tea, one drives a big digger that goes nowhere in particular one shouts orders and one actually digs.
Each time has a supervisory board of 3 that sits and proclaims such things as “big job” oo that’ll cost ya etc.
Fix the roads..I shall be back tomorrow, were my subject of discussion shall be concrete buildings!
