I don't dislike you, I don't know you, but 90% of your posts are pure crap if I am honest. All the same nonsense, ra ra Usa, blah blah, it could be if we went for a beer we would get on, you could be a cool guy. On here your have an agenda and you angle every post to it.

my agenda is to counter your agenda. I responded to your earlier post and you said nothing because you know i was right. My post was not positive about US. My post stated i thought it was funny how Croatians think the US has so much influence over their EU talks when they don't. I don't see that as being pro US. I pro American. I have repeatedly stated that I disagree with many policies of the current administration. I don't see that as favoring American Emperialism.

I haven't been on since last week. Croam I have no agenda, so you're statement is rather silly. It seems to me you want to be the new ghost, and whilst like her you're not too bright, you lack the nastiness.

you posted earlier today what are you talking about? you see how you waste valuable space on these boards and waste everyone's time by not reading and thinking before responding. this site isn't about you or me:

my dad said that alot of people he talked to think the "US is controlling everything".
thats funny seeing that the US hates the UN war crimes tribunal. so i dunno why they think that. I guess its easy to hate the US with our current administration....but I fail to see the connection with the EU holding Croatia back having anything to do with the US. If anything, I see the US stance on the Hague as benefiting Croatia at least in "moral support."
P.S. I think Carla got spanked for "doing her job" too well. I think as soon as she went after the Vatican she crossed some lines she shouldn't have crossed. That or John Bolton told her to shut up before something bad happens to her. Any opinions on that?
Croam, it's not even worth the effort reading your posts.
Just put your name on and we will all know what your post will say.
USA USA USA, we're great, we're better than anybody else, you're lucky we're saving your asses blah blah. As I said just leave your name in future it will save your time and everybody elses. Logged

Sorry croam, I don't get to visit these board so much lately, I'm on dial-up and it's a pain.
Mesic was shown in a series of soundbites so the editing is to be suspected, also, my Croatian causes me to miss some of the finer points, but I think he was stressing the need to remember all those Croats currently living in "other" states, and that the EU experience should not denied them. I got the feeling he was alluding to a form of "greater" Croatian influence. Either way, I don't see it as a sensible thing to bring up at this point.
As always, I may have it wrong.

hey Mark, your right we should stick to the subject, if you want a considered opinion read real old guests posts, thought out in a very croatian way, my comment was on the back of a personaly disparaging comment that i thought was out of order and reminded me of emiz's posts (which i always found quite entertaining btw) well my opinion counts for didly but i think croatia will be fine either way, it's a funny little country that despite everyones efforts to subjugate it has somehow managed to retain its identity, the europeans will fare much as the turks did, they will be here for a while and then they will go away as frustrated as many who tried to impose their will on the place. The croatians will continue to fish and farm and get on with the business of living as they have done for over a thousand years and God bless them for it, there's more wisdom in silent action than empty noise. Long live croatia

to clarify, I meant nothing disparaging or patronising to real old guest, quite the opposite, i meant that he has a croatian point of view, most of us dont live there and dont really know what life is like for them or what would be best for croatia so i dont feel qualified to give as clear a point of view as real old guest seems to. All i can do is give an opinion and as some one once said opinions are like arses everyones got one and they are usually full of ****
