hmmm Bulgaria has more roses . Bulgarias sea water is saltier. There are more Bulgarians in Bulgaria. The capitlal has a more beautiful name than Croatias capital.
I'd like to go and see it for myself, but I don't think it's going to be as good as Croatia as far as coastal scenery goes. Have you been there Mark ?

As far as I can see Bezbri... Gav, it is computer-generated apartment blocks. Probably wish I'd gone there a few years ago so I could see the difference. Tell you what though, I wish I owned a concrete company in Bulgaria $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Croatian Coast far out shines Bulgaria.

Yes it's me gav, i changed my name to protect the innocent. I asked a bulgarian guy what it was like on the coast there, he answered by saying he holidayed in Croatia for a reason. I think there must be some good spots inland though.

I guess I am the only person who has been to both, I would say that naturally Bulgaria's coast is nicer, golden sandy beaches, with forests just behind the beach.
Bulgaria is much cheaper, especially in terms of buying property, however Bulgaria is far more overcrowded than Croatia and they are unquestionably heading down the Spain/Greece route.
If I was buying property just to live in a few weeks a year, I would plumb for Bulgaria as it is much cheaper, if I was buying as an investment, I would got for Croatia.

Maybe they know something/somebody. This is the kind of rumour that will encourage it - or boost someone's share price.

Why would anybody keep quiet? It says exactly what well all know, Croatia is a more sophisticated place, that doesn't mean Croatia is sophisticated, it means than Bulgarians still travel to work by tree.
Croatia's biggest downfall as highlighted in the article are the unrealistic prices, plus many people prefer sandy beaches, I don't enjoy cutting my foot trying to get into the water and having to wear those stupid shoes.
However aesthetically, when looking from a distance Croatia's coastline is as beautiful as you will see in Europe.
