Can anyone advise where the cheapest pool chlorine can be bought in Istria? I know there are restrictions on travelling with it over the borders but it does seem that the Croatian price is extortionate

I got some from a place on the edge of Tar, 100kn for 1kg - maybe that is extortionate, I don't know!?

Don't know about the price, but you may want to give Lakmus d.o.o. in Buzet a call. They supply many of the chemicals in Istria to companies, so I expect that shops etc also buy there. They do speak English and Italian. If you want to drive there you will find them opposite the OMV fuel station, it is a relatively new building. Another company you can try is Kuna Corporation in Oroslavje, 049-249 010, www.kuna-corporation.hr. Ask for Mladen Kuna, he speaks perfect English. |
