If the connoisseurs of ferry travel will excuse this , for the benefit of the uninitiated : - the CEO was was a charismatic Dane/Viking , fighting the mighty P&O and SeaFrance , in a price-war , operating one v. v. shabby 3rd-hand ship , imported semi-dead , all the way from Tasmania , DownUnda ; but , it still was THE quickest ferry-crossing , of much interest to sea-sickly-challenged , as well as to the parsimonious ones... - the deal was : Boulogne ( F ) to Blighty , or the other way , 25 squids at most times , for a car and up to 5 passengers incl. So , now that they have also "gone in" , and the Chunnel is experiencing such incredible troubles and delays ...besides the obvious usually : ( disgusting ) flying , just how do YOU prefer to get to England ? Having just asked this , we're booked onto Le Shuttle , smoke'n all , early next week ; hold thumbs ( 'nuff said ) ?
