Anyone fancy a heated deabate as to who is going to win the men's tournament down under? I'm not putting any money on Djokovic who should be worried at losing a set to a wildcard lucky loser, Bosnian/American Amer Delic. I also read that insults, bottles and chairs were hurled back and forth between dozens of Bosnian and Serbian youths after Djokovic won despite the players hugging each other, which is sad. On the Croatian side Marin Cilic, who I saw play Davis Cup at Wimbledon 2 years ago when he was only 18, seems to be playing very well. For anyone interested the ATP website has a somewhat over-dramatic article on him: www.atpworldtour.com/5/en/deuce/january2009/cilic.aspI would have liked to have seen the match between Mario Ancic and Ivo Karlovic - a mega 5-setter which Ancic did well to win. Obviously not on UK TV as it didn't involve Andy Murray I saw Federer play Safin this morning (UK time) and I think Federer is looking very hungry to win again. My money may be on him, although I would like to see the dour Scot do well...

Luvverly , to see the Bosniaks and the Sebs in the reality of their usual behavior/s , live on TV , outside the Melbourne arena , too ; a good lecture , I say : to the rotten politically-correct Anglo-Saxon Liberals (incl. the Aussies) , who still maintain that we all are the same , whether we be Albanians , Cubans , Zulus , Nigerians , Swedes , Yanks , Xosas , Brits , Tswanas , or what have you ? And Ana I. looked well again , thanxxxxx , oh : but she lost already , I understand !

They need to set up an (ultimate fight cage) outside that tennis center !!! great opportunity for them to take eachother on one on one( line up for one on one fights in the cage while the rest watch till they get their turn) , make it a commercial event!!! Dont know why they havent done that already? televise it!

There is still a Croatian player left in the tournament ( unusual , as after Ivanisevic's departure , Croats usually don't play the 2nd week of Grand Slams ) , Dalmatian Cilic ; and then there those highly-rated Serbs , Djokovic and Jankovic ... so that might give the unruly hordes more reasons , to show off their primitivisms ; some say : all that hot sun , can cause irreparable damage to one's brain ?

The Serbs and Croats are all out now , so the tournament can proceed peacefully , provided the ludicruosly hot weather permits any decent matches...tsk , tsk , tsk...

And so , after some months with Ana I. , Fernando Verdasco almost "potroshio" Nadal , too ; yet , in the breath-taking last spilt-second , it was not ( yet ? ) to be ... Great Lesson to Djokovitj and others , how to fight and persevere , in any circumstances , though ; any bets on Sunday final , anyone ?
