Anyone up for a repeat competition this year ?
Can Capio ,the 2008-2009 Croatian Forum Premiere League TOP Tipster CHAMPION defend his title ? with a new name and from the fizzy pop league ?
Will Nick get the time off from his beloved ?
Will Upthevilla improve on his Silver ?
Will Madgolfer back his beloved Spurs now that they are off the 3 points jokes from last season
Will anyone beat a 48.94 % success rate ?
Will Kesterj work out how many games there are ?
Will Polako be the judge of all disputes between the competitor's?
Will Ribaric last the season now he has visa ?
Will Gmh be a surprise from down under ?
Will Prkbrk enlighten us more or is just the internationals?
Will Justapixel pop in a wish us all happy birthday ?
Will Mirabelle keep an eye on any double entrants ?
Will Mambo put an appearance in ?
Will Gobrea return and last the distance ?
Will there be a new poster who takes the title ?
Oh the tension

"Will Madgolfer back his beloved Spurs now that they are off the 3 points jokes from last season"
Oh very funny.......Ha ha ha ha ;D
AND you forgot to mention the most important game of the weekend, perhaps the setting for the entire season........
Sunday 4pm; Tottenham vs Liverpool Home Win 1-0
Oh and I think these two are playing as well... Man Utd vs Birmingham Home win 2-0
As for the others;
Saturday, 15 August 2009
Aston Villa v Wigan, 15:00 Home win Blackburn v Man City, 15:00 Away win Bolton v Sunderland, 15:00 Home win Chelsea v Hull, 12:45 Home win Everton v Arsenal, 17:30 Away win Portsmouth v Fulham, 15:00 Away win Stoke v Burnley, 15:00 Home win Wolverhampton v West Ham, 15:00 Away win
I should state at this point that I have very little knowledge, understanding or interest in many of the teams involved and my predictions for the season will be based on pure luck and a total bias towards any London team playing north of the border ;D

I may contribute the odd gem of enlightenment this year and participate in this game as the winter in the village is long and empty, but normally EPL football games are about as interesting nowadays as well..... EPL games...... I think the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and other European leagues (my own wee league I expect will be a cakewalk for the current champions), offer a bit more excitement in many cases........ Anyway to add (selectively- i.e. I would never bet on those tabbed with an asterisk!) to the coffers of Germania Sport (they are bemused with my continual small kuna dabblings in the lower Scottish and Conference leagues, but you get a better return on your 'investment' ;D) Aston Villa v Wigan, Draw* Blackburn v Man City, Draw Bolton v Sunderland, Home win* Chelsea v Hull, Home win Everton v Arsenal, Draw Portsmouth v Fulham, Away win* Stoke v Burnley, Draw* Wolverhampton v West Ham, Away win* Sunday 16 August 2009 Tottenham vs Liverpool Away win Man Utd vs Birmingham Home win I also predict Stoke, Sunderland and Portsmouth to go down this year but they will have a relegation tussle with Birmingham, Spurs (horrendous pre-season - losing to Celtic is unforgivable IMV - my daughter has been cut out of the will unless they buck up their ideas ), Burnley and Wolves (not exactly rocket science to predict).....

I take it that UTV has assumed all responsibility for running, up-dating, co-ordinating, posting, and scoring all the results and anything else required to keep this alive each week...... ;D
I suppose everyone is on the edge of their seat (7am) looking forward to this afternoons "clash of the Titans" as much as I am? ;D
C'mon U Spurs!!!!!
