Hi there. Does anyone have an recommendations for kitchen suppliers in Split area in Croatia?
I need to have my kitchen measured up and a kitchen installed. Nothing too fancy as the house will be a holiday rental.
Do any companies measure up the kitchen, provide the materials and fit? Perhaps a company that install custom kitchens?
Ive been told we have to measure up the kitchen ourselves then approach a DIY shop to order the kitchen ,then wait 3 months before the kitchen arrives. Then employ someone else to fit the kitchen. This will involve several trips to Croatia.
It would be nice if we could streamline this and have one company do the whole job at a reasonable price. Would be interested in other property owners experiences.

Hi indianalindsay. How are rental laws linked with kitchen installations? Or are you referring to the complexity involved in getting a license to rent?

Try googling this term 'namjestaj po mjeri split' Should come up with a few places that do custom kitchens.

My quoting went awry; of course I was referring to the complexity of renting. FWIW. We used Max Morris outside Split and they built a custom made one for us. It was not a lot more expensive than one you might get in Emmezeta (in Kastela, just outside Split)

There is a factory on the outskirts of Split (whose name I cannot remmeber right now) but that is where the cheapest and most attractive kitchens seem to come from. We bought ours in Aran and I would say avoid!!!

There is a real cheap solution which is also perfect for tourists (they cannot destroy anything) and that is to build your kitchen with concrete, tiles and a few wooden planks as cupboards. You can easily build it yourself and the total cost does not have to be more than a few hundred euro. If you really go cheap you can have it for less than 100 euro.

We had a really positive experience with Lesnina, which was certainly not our number one choice dong the research, but 2 years later, all is good. Good selection of kitchens and they delivered and installed on time, very pleased overall.
