The Chinese , by and large , have different expectations than the decadent West , still ; check this example : earlier today , in England , I bought a litre of UHT skimmed milk , tetrapak ; waiting to shell out my 40-odd pence , out of boredom , I read the small print on the carton : Contains : skimmed milk ( 100% ) Nutrition , per 100 ml : 37 calories , fat 0,3% , protein 3,6 grams , carbs 4,9 grams etc tra-la-la ...then , a-ha : ! HEALTH WARNING ( in larger , bolder capitals ) CONTAINS M I L K ergo : not a Vodka-Martini , shaken , not stirred , nor Extasy/cocaine/heroin/chewing gum/red meat, lentil soup , beer , Champagne , curry or worse... How utterly disappointing , when one only wanted a carton of milk ( 100% ) , as selected ! The health'n'safety is an expensive hobby , much enjoyed and enforced by western bureaucracy ; I also agree that milk cartons containing milk , walking on pavements , breathing , bottles of water actually containg water and all such dangerous pursuits should be much more controlled and users thereof heavily fined , if at all possible !?
