Anyone know of an affordable trucking company from UK to Zagreb, or one that goes from Zagreb to UK then back? I need to ship about a pallet size of items from the UK to Zagreb in July (no need to be on pallet, in 4 separate boxes). Can also be via a van or trailer, a company or persons who takes stuff to the UK and is happy to transport some items back. (Need to be able to meet up north London, Berkshire or M25 over to M1).

Crojoe these may be worth a ring www.credo-movers.hr/new/index.php/enguys name is Piero, they are Zagreb base and will take part loads to London on a fairly regular basis. Contact them and heck, they are expensive. For 3 boxes that measures a total of 0.7 cbm they wanted 580 euros. Can drive both ways myself, fill my van to full with stuff for the same money. Maybe I've found a new business? Was hoping to give a Croatian company a chance, but at those rates forget it (that's not including VAT or and paperwork). Was actually quoted 180 Euro's by a UK company, so guess will have to go with them. Must be that Croatian "who wants to be a millionaire today" mentality again. I had 2 Euro pallets sent from China for the same amount.

Yup that sure sounds a stupid price, are you certain it wasn't 580 kuna ? Then there are several sites where you list for free your delivery pick up and drop off, and van guys make you offers, such as www.shiply.com/I wish it was so, but it was "we can offer for 570 EUR"

This is the company we used when moving back to the UK. I know they do part loads because they left space at the end of the truck for a crate they were picking up in Zagreb for another customer to take to somewhere in North London. www.agsmovers.com/branches/view/48I can't remember what it cost but we must have thought it reasonable (or I'd remember!)

Try steve@ewepack.com. They moved 50 banana boxes (2 huge pallets) for 500 Euros. But they were 100% on time ,100% no hassle, 100% safe, easy peasy.

And for 500 euros I can do the trip myself by road (which I just did 2 months back). I'm planning another trip from London to Zagreb around March 2014. If you have some gold bars you want shifting then let me know.

Wow. Nice offer thank you very much ....I am assuming you dont just take gold bars ......but in Croatia that might be a wrong assumption lol.... I will definitely keep March in mind. But my husband and I might have to take my car to UK for dreaded MOT unless we do an Italian conversion on it. I looked at the post about all the trips to police to register foreign car ......simply cant face it. Where are you situated ...Zagreb?
