Are you for real ?!!!! You comparing Gotovina to Churchill? This just goes to show how utterly stuck up Croatians are. What does it matter to you personally what happens to Gotovina? Are you not concerned more about your job and income prospects? Don't you want to live in an orderly society in which the sky will be the limit? Enter EU and take your prospects to a higher level. If Gotovina is innocent, he will walk away from the Hague a free man.

..what she means by this is that some croats look no further than Zagreb. This a common criticism about Croatia by people from larger countries. Lets see, Britain has 60 million people, croatia 4.5 million. Croatia is a very small fish in a large pond.
Churchill was actually Prime Minister whereas Gotovina's a career soldier and as we know its soldiers who suffer in war, not politicians

And if you read his indicment you'll understand my comparation.

Monty's army was very different to Gotovina's army, and the war was different, and Monty never fought in the Balkans (which has seen a lot of slaughter, may be more than anywhere else in the world?). I don't think there is a comparison. You see you can't compare Brits with Croats - different universe

Stop comparing and start standing on your own!!!! Why can't Croatians understand that, once and for all. Take responsibility for your own actions, that is the only way to be taken seriously.

DundoMaroje, don't you understand that this one person is standing in the way of prosperity of 4.5mil people? As I said, if he is innocent he has nothing to fear. He will walk away free, having also his name cleared. His hiding in exile can only mean 1 thing = GUILTY. You are one of those 4.5 mil picking up the tab. Unless the government suddenly remembers wher his whereabouts are.

DundoMaroje, I will ask you once more: what does it matter to you personally what happens to Gotovina? If you enter EU, you will suddenly see new avenues open before you. Croatia will be a country of law and order, where everyone (from top to bottom) will be accountable. There will be transparency in everything. No more corruption, no more paying some lowlife just to obtain the simplest of permits. You will be able to travel, take residency and look for work in any country in Europe. Croatia will get an injection of fresh capital, more foreign companies will invest into our country, more jobs will be created. I could go on and on. Gotovina is not worth throwing all that away.
