gino i know what my blessing are . i respect the people that fought for croatia. ufortunately ..most of the people that fought for croatia are not very happy people today. the government has forgotten them. i suggest that next time theres a war somewhere in the world that the political leaders of the waring countries ..lead the army into battle. like it was in the past. then we maybe wouldnt have wars. or any conflicts .

There's not a lot new on these boards. This line is old. But really. politics religion, war, health and circumstances could well make you SELL to whoever puts their money on the table. Croatia is okay. Complicated if you are an alien. But okay. This is their system. There is no real debate. You want a buyer and find one...you sell to the buyer. Croats do not appear to be buyers. So you look elsewhere. There is no more to be said.

Hi everyone
what an interesting forum. My husband and I are very interested in buying a property in your country..... dont shout at us! We don't like how England is and want to move to were a community is... yes we realise that we are immigrants .. but we want to embrace the croatian lifestyle. We have no desire to come to a place in croatia and find "England". We want to become of and embrace your culture.
We both bring skills that if Croats want to use we are happy to share. However, we do not want to take jobs from anyone.
Gary and Toni x

Don't expect too much. Croatia is okay. But this system is unbelievable for aliens. Be prepared to walk miles and provide documents by the ream, and hen again, and again, in duplicate. And still feel like you should not have done it. But it['s warm now. Evil in winter. But the summers are superb. (The food is rubbish and expensive, long term). Tesco has better, and cheaper! The wine, brewed by the locals is fabulous!
