Ok , here is a question , HOW MANY ENGLISH ACUALLY LIKE CROATIANS ? Fact about 890 british live in croatia, but over 10,000 croatains live in Britain. WOW! I never knew there was that many, you would never think it.

I thought there would be more....but when you think about it.. once they have children in Croatia... the children are Croatian. There are probably many more Croatian/Brits.... all the children from the 890 that are here....?

What would you call someone whos born in Croatia of British parents? British croatian or the other way round?

I think the number of Croatians living in Britian is incorrect.... there has to be over 10,000.....
Where are they getting this info?
Are they counting in Croatians that eventually get their citizenship or are they strictly counting Croatians living with visa?

well yes I do like the people from there, very traditional and conservative, but more true to themselves and not as big headed as some people from other places in Cro...
...my point would be that there's nothing really there!

I'm pretty sure Gary recently said he lives in Velika Gorica. I like Slavonian food. It's hearty stuff for hard working folks.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Slavonia whatsoever.
However, it's just that the food doesn't do it for me! I'm a jastog ( I mean lobster, not pillow!) skampi and blitva type of guy.
I once asked a fisherman in a bar that if saran is so good, why do you need to drown it in five kilos of paprika! And everything in breadcrumbs...
It's all due to my upbringing, Slavonian food is not a million miles from Scots.
But the music........

You know I am Dalmatian... married to a Slavonian.
I love our food(squid, fish) but I do like the Slavonian stuff tooo... beautiful sauages and such.
The music is good also....
And all the paprika.... Well....that is so you drink even more wine!!! haha

So the question still remains - 'why many croats do not like the English?' The arguement for this is pretty weak, if 'over 10,000' chose to live in the UK. I don't think the English particularly have any reason to dislike Croats, its mostly of indifference due to the lack of information - the same applies to nationals from say Finland or Ghana. I suspect that most intolerance and prejudice comes from higher levels, be it your parents, the press or the government. For example, Goran Ivanisevic put Croatia on the map and showed the country in a positive light - as a hard working underdog with skill and stamina. Are there any positive English characters in Croatia?

Goran swore so incredibly at judges and opponents @ Wimbo , he's gotta be THE rudest & most mannerless Balkans player alive - especially , when compared to a player 100X his qualities , one Novak Djokovitj ! What is it about Croats , so arrogant and so ignorant , simultaneously ?
