Well what about cooking spices like oregano, thyme, paprika are these easily accesible in Croatia? what about chili spice? ;D

Actually walking in the countryside in September (after a wet August) I was surprised how many wild herbs I came across. I don't think people realise now how many wild herbs croatia has. da noddy, you didn't read the article (too busy in toyland fixing big ears) true, glen, i didn't read the article. i did follow the link, but there was too much text found the section about vegeta and got the general idea of the text. i don't have vegeta at home so i can't check on the ingredients, but i know the percentage of sodium glutamate is HIGH. i'm not saying there aren't any dried herbs in it, though. and you're right about the percentage of salt (ps i'm talking only about the 'original' vegeta, not twist, mediterranean, soups etc, i've never tried any of those, we don't have them in toyland) greetings from toyland
