Well done, I was wondering if anyone would get that. So, you going to give it a go or not ?

Normally would be tempted (my inquisitive nature rears its ugly side ), but definitely can't this evening. I'm free from 23 February!

It was a good craic! Route 66 is a smoke-filled shed at the bottom of a highway embankment. it was busy and a lot of folks were wearing a LOT of leather . The band were good and a friendly too. Nice to meet you Gav, I didn't have the nerve to ask but I've never seen a juggler with your..... well....problem! Don't you drop stuff a lot?

Not as much as you may think, having only 6 fingers in total is a lot less of a hassle than you may imagine. I'm still suffering from the smoke poisoning. cough cough. Turns out Ribaric is a good guy, all be it a Hari Krishna. When he wrote on this thread that he'd get anyone a 'jar', I had presumed he meant beer, but as it turned out he spent the whole night trying to get me to eat LENTILS It did find it amazing how well the chant 'hari krishna, hari rama, hari hari, hari rama ' went with blue grass tunes.

What? none of 'em? OK.
How would you rate route 66 as a top 101 Zagrebski venue? Marks out of ten.
Don't forget the smoke, din, rickety tables, dodgy looking barmen, the leather, cleanliness, parking facilities, WC, price of liquor, general environs and that certain "something" a place should have.
Negative scores are permitted.
Hey Brightside, a not-to-be-missed place huh?

Well, I'd have to admit to not being to 101 different places yet, but to rate it fairly out of all the places I have been to, I would put it second last. The only reason it's not last is because they sell Velebitsko Pivo at 12kuna for 500ml bottle. Hopefully you can find somewhere else that has a blue grass band.

It was "Blues Brothers" doing a country gig, only the chicken wire was missing. Some of us quite like an "informal" soiree! Now where'd I put them cuban heel boots?
