Oh my what has life come to. First my beloved Spurs get poisioned by some doggy catering firm from Highbury. Never mind at least I can cheer on Boro on Wednesday night. Whoops wot happened there then!!!!!!!!
Now I have to watch my arch rivals (sorry but I cant bring myself to actually use their name) in a last ditch attempt to see a British team perform well in Europe this year. Can it get any worse?
(Yeah, they could go and win!!!!!!!!!!)

I'm shouting for Barcelona - as it's Henrik Larsson's last chance for a european winners medal - wouldn't be surprised if there's not a contingent of green-hooped guys shouting for them at the match, too. As a part-time Spurs fan and full-time Scot ..........!! (Although the other London team's English link is tenuous, at best!)

While I don't dislike barcelona, they do play a nice brand of football, I hope they lose as I cannot stand their coach. For 2 reasons:
1. 1988 - He claimed that the goal by Wim Kieft was perfectly legal, even though the scorer himself admitted to being miles offside and that the free kick not awarded in the lead up was due to Dutch cheating. 2. The spit at Rudi Voller and false claims of racist taunts, that he later retracted but tried to play down as not being sure of what was said. it wasn't that he spat once, but he did it repeatedly and it was a common ploy of his to wind up opponents.
It would be great to see Arsenal win as it would shut up Manchester United fans, give one in the eye to all the Barce fans who were so rotten to us in London a couple of years back (not that they'd remember, but they kept chanting into our faces as we queued in Starbucks as if we cared about their game with Chelsea!).

The voller incident was a strange one I grant you, but as a mature man, I think he is the most modest and honest manager of any elite team, whereas Wenger is the biggest moaner alive. If any of his players commit a serious offence his standard retort is "I did not see it" He plays mind games, but when Mourinho decided to take the games onto a new level, he threatened to sue him, he is a brilliant manager his buying record will match anybody anywhere, but he is a moaning old git.

I think I'd rather the stupid blinkered views of Ferguson,Wenger and Mourinho (they seem to watch games with eyes closed) than someone who failed to apologise for scum behaviour when they were outed. To date he never apologised, even when admitting Voller was blameless. No, his bunch of players (just flashed to Messi's jump into a mid-air Del Horno) deserve a beating. It'd be a real smack for Mourinho and his complex too!

If the Irons win today (I think 1-0), Louth tomorrow and Munster next week I'll be a happy punter! How lovely it'll be to sink the scousers (even if they come from the capital of Ireland!).

Huh? Surely Liverpool was formed by a split in Everton football club? As for Messi, I agree that a red car was harsh for Del Horno, but his challenged was ic I don't think you can blame messi for getting out of the way.
