I refuse to watch it, where were they when we really wanted football? Plus Nova only ever show, man utd chelsea or arsenal. I now happily pay 50 kunas to have my box updated whenever it is needed, the last time it lasted 8 months. I have the prem, la lifa, Serie zzz, french league..15 movie channels, sky news, bbc blah blah.
Its the dogs bollocks!

Hi, might sound a bit stupid - but would be great if anyone can watch Nova tv, please tell me you can! My husband will be delighted if he can watch it, especially as he also is a Chelsea supporter. We wont have sky at first when we come out to live so I was just wondering if we would be able to watch it. Thanks

I don't really understand the question, are you asking if the signal is good in Croatia? It is a Croatian channel called Nova so the signal is great, the commentary is in Croatian and the guy can't pronounce the names, but its not bad.
If you're moving close to Zagreb or Sibenik, send me a pm and I'll let you know where you can get satalite for next to nothing, it is not as good as sky, but it has more live games than sky, and more movies, but no eastenders or the bill, I'm afraid. All you would need to do is buy a sat and a box, 120 pounds or so, then pay them 5 pounds to download the codecs for you.

We pay, its just like in England load of crap, but I would rather pay than have to tell some badly dressed smelly old tramp to get lost every month when he asks if I have a tv.

No ones come round to my place yet and asked, so I haven't paid. I think I should take the sat dish down from in front of the window. Bit of a give away really and I don't even use it.

What's the problem? Nova shows the deep deapths of American sit-coms. I tend to avoid those. Football, yes, I can watch that. Reception, Sibenik, nema problema...RTL...sometimes poor.

Actually parts of the Sibenik area have problems with Nova tv.

Nova via an antenna is grainy up here in Varazdin, only those with cable get a good quality pic. HRT 1 & 2 and RTL are fine. So are the Austrian (but everyhting is dubbed...badly) and most Slovenian channels. I get 9 in all through a a roof yagi antenna.
G4USL but dormant! (?)

Do you also get the Slovene POP TV? I want it! But this Medvednica hillock hillbilly is blocking the reception.

I do get POP TV, there's a fair bit of English language stuff there too...amid the cheesy and badly dubbed "traditional musak nights" in a TV studio. Why would you like to get it? ..... did I really ask that?

Don't worry, phrasal verbs are lost on me. From time to time they have some (American) sit-coms that I like. Judging by the TV Studio, that time is NOT now.
